Managing Director

Mike has over 30 years’ experience as an underwriter in general insurance with the last twelve years involved with legal expenses insurance. Mike is a Chartered Insurer and a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Mike is a strong advocate for access to justice for all and looks forward to the challenges ahead in the legal expenses insurance industry, particularly the development of legal expenses insurance policies to protect as many customers as possible.

Nick Garner

Chief Executive Officer

Nick is a qualified accountant and has worked in legal expenses for over seven years. Prior to his appointment as managing director, Nick served as a non-executive director on the Financial & Legal Insurance board and is therefore well qualified to drive the business forward.

Nick recognises the challenges ahead and has the desire to ensure that Financial & Legal Insurance continue to develop innovative solutions and legal protection products so that the demands and needs of customers and clients continue to be met.

Kyle Stubbs

Head of Business Development

Kyle is a senior sales and account manager with over 15 years’ experience in the legal and medical sector, dealing with key decision makers, intermediaries, solicitors, medical companies and claims management companies.

Kyle believes in providing products and processes to meet customer and business partner needs and requirements.

Risk and Underwriting Manager

David has over 10 years’ experience working as an underwriter and senior underwriter at a number of leading Legal Expenses providers where he had extensive experience in managing large property accounts. His central belief is in providing access to justice through comprehensive, well-researched products, coupled with an excellent claims service.

Rob Mycroft

Rob Mycroft

Claims Manager

Rob is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and an LSM accredited Mediator. With over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry, his fee earning background provides him with an understanding of the daily trials and tribulations faced by fee earners.

With this is in mind, Rob has a desire to provide maximum support to the solicitor without impeding their role or making their job harder.

Charlotte Yates

Charlotte Yates

Client Relationship Executive

Charlotte began her career in 2009 as a claims assistant, specialising in BTE claims.

In 2012 she transitioned to specialise in ATE cover and began training as a compliance assistant plus helping with solicitor auditing and recoveries.

Charlotte is responsible for managing solicitor accounts using her wide and varied experience across all areas of claims, recoveries and account management.
