Nick is a qualified accountant, skilled in operations and financial management with extensive experience in the insurance sector.
Sitting on the executive committee of the Credit Hire Organisation and Access to Justice campaign group enables Nick to ensure Financial & Legal remains informed and influential in the market place.
Karen is an experienced insurance professional having worked in the industry for over 30 years, both in broking and underwriting. Until September 2018 Karen was CEO of UK General Insurance and employed within the business for almost 17 years, starting as underwriting manager in 2002 and progressing to the CEO role.
She is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion and has worked hard to promote awareness and practical steps to implement change.
Grahame has over 30 years’ experience in legal expenses insurance. He began his career in Basingstoke with the AA handling claims. Grahame later came north to Cheadle with the AA, before becoming the Legal Expenses Insurance Manager with Russell Jones and Walker (which became part of Slater & Gordon). Since joining the Drive Further collective 14 years ago, Grahame has held several roles across the organisation. He has been F&L’s Head of Underwriting for the last 3 years.
Rob has over 30 years of experience in the legal industry. His journey began as a legal clerk at a Manchester city centre law firm developing into a fee earner role. After qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives he moved on to defendant firm James Chapman and then later Berrymans Lace Mawer. Rob then spent the better part of a decade as a claimant fee earner at Bott & Co before joining Financial and Legal Insurance in 2008.
Jon was previously commercial director at UK General Insurance, but he began his career in the late 1990’s at General Accident and spent several years in business development roles across the life and GI business at Norwich Union. After Norwich Union he spent seven years at Tesco Bank before leaving in 2016 for a sales director role at Vantage, before joining UK General in 2018.
